Milan – Germany pulled off a gutsy 2-1 comeback win against Italy in the first leg of their UEFA Nations League quarter-final showdown at the iconic San Siro on Thursday night, seizing a crucial advantage ahead of the return fixture.
The Azzurri drew first blood early on, with Sandro Tonali slotting home in the 9th minute to ignite hopes of a home triumph. But, unfazed by the early setback, Germany stormed back in commanding fashion after the break.
