CAN Appoint STUART LAW as Head Coach

The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has appointed Australian coach Stuart Law as the new head coach of the Nepal national men's cricket team, replacing Monty Desai. CAN officially announced Law's appointment on Friday, confirming that the two parties have agreed to a two-year contract. The former Australian cricketer was selected from a pool of 70 applicants, with CAN shortlisting 10 candidates for the final round of interviews before finalizing the appointment. Law brings a wealth of coaching experience, having previously managed teams in Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, the West Indies, Afghanistan, Bangladesh U-19, and the USA. As a player, Law was part of the Australian squad that finished as runners-up in the 1996 ICC Cricket World Cup. He represented Australia in 54 One-Day Internationals and one Test match. His appointment marks a new chapter for Nepal cricket as the team looks to build on recent progress on the international stage.
