The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has officially unveiled the fixtures for the Nepal Premier League (NPL) Season 2, setting the stage for a thrilling month-long cricketing spectacle. The tournament will commence on November 17, 2025, and conclude with the Grand Finale on December 13, marking the introduction of a new era of excitement as floodlight matches make their debut in the league’s history. The second edition of the NPL will feature eight dynamic franchises representing different regions of the country — Janakpur Bolts, Kathmandu Gorkhas, Biratnagar Kings, Chitwan Rhinos, Lumbini Lions, Sudurpaschim Royals, Karnali Yaks, and Pokhara Avengers. The lineup ensures a truly national representation and promises intense competition as Nepal’s top cricketers, with foreign recruits, battle for supremacy. The opening day on November 17 (Monday) will see a high-voltage clash between Janakpur Bolts and Kathmandu Gorkhas at 4:00 PM, officially launching Season 2. The following day, Chitwan Rhinos face Karnali Yaks in the morning game, while Biratnagar Kings lock horns with Pokhara Avengers in the afternoon encounter — both expected to draw huge fan attention. The group stage will continue until December 7, featuring daily fixtures and several double-headers. For the first time, select matches will be played under floodlights, giving fans a spectacular evening experience and marking a significant milestone in Nepal’s domestic cricket development.

The playoffs are scheduled for the second week of December. Qualifier 1 (1st vs. 2nd) will take place on December 9, followed by the Eliminator (3rd vs. 4th) on December 10, and Qualifier 2 (Loser of Q1 vs. Winner of the Eliminator) on December 11. The tournament will reach its climax with the Grand Finale on Saturday, December 13, at 3:30 PM, where the top two teams will battle for the coveted NPL crown.
