The Tiger Group of Pokhara, Nepal, has officially announced the prize structure and partnership plans for the upcoming 6th Tiger Cup 2026 national and International Club-Level Women’s and Men’s Volleyball Championship, scheduled to take place from January 23 to January 31, 2026, in Pokhara. The details were released through an official notice signed by President Narayan Prasad Sharma, General Secretary Prakash Baral, and Treasurer Hari Shrestha.

In a significant boost to the event’s promotion and reach, Tiger Group today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Kantipur Media Group and Sushree Media Pvt. Ltd. Under this partnership, Kantipur Media will handle the official broadcasting rights, ensuring nationwide coverage, while Sushree Media will oversee marketing and promotional activities, enhancing the tournament’s visibility across multiple platforms. This collaboration marks a significant milestone, positioning the Tiger Cup as one of the most professionally managed volleyball events in Nepal.

The championship prize pool reflects the organisers’ commitment to uplifting Nepali volleyball. The champion team will take home Rs. 6,66,666, the runner-up will receive Rs. 3,66,666, and the third-placed team will earn Rs. 1,66,666. Individual performers will also be honoured in categories including Best Player, Best Setter, Best Server, Best Blocker, Best Libero, Best Spiker, and Best Coach—each receiving Rs. 11,666 plus a gift hamper. All winners will also receive shields, medals, and certificates.

President Sharma highlighted that Tiger Cup 2026 will draw top national and international clubs, offering a competitive platform that promotes talent development and strengthens Pokhara’s growing reputation as a sports destination. With strong media partners on board and substantial prize incentives, this year’s edition is expected to attract record audiences and deliver world-class volleyball action.

Preparations for the tournament have already begun, and organisers expressed confidence that the combined efforts of Tiger Group, Kantipur Media, and Sushree Media Pvt. Ltd. will set a new benchmark in event execution, fan engagement, and professional sports broadcasting in Nepal.
