APF Surge Back to Crush Nawa Janajagriti; NRT and Manang Trade Blanks

APF FC reasserted their dominance in the National League with a commanding 4-1 comeback victory over a struggling Nawa Janajagriti Youth Club at the ANFA Complex in Satdobato. Despite an early scare in the 29th minute when Nischal Thapa's clinical strike handed the underdogs a shock lead, the departmental side refused to panic. Captain Hari Karki provided the vital spark just before the interval, slotting home a 43rd-minute equaliser that shifted the momentum entirely.

The second half was a masterclass in clinical finishing as APF took immediate control. Yubaraj Khadka found the net in the 46th minute to put his side ahead, followed by a devastating two-minute blitz where Samiraj Thokar and Anish Gharti Chhetri both scored in the 59th and 60th minutes, respectively. While APF climbs to a formidable 16 points from six matches, Nava Janajagruti remains anchored to the bottom of the table after its sixth straight defeat.

Deadlock at Satdobato

In the day’s other fixture at the same venue, traditional heavyweights New Road Team (NRT) and Manang Marshyangdi Club played out a gritty, yet frustrating, 0-0 draw.

While both sides showed defensive solidity, the lack of a finishing touch left both sets of fans disappointed. The result does little to help either side’s title aspirations as they struggled to break the deadlock in a tactical stalemate.
