Cantillana Leads Machhindra to Convincing Victory
In the afternoon match, Machhindra F.C. defeated Nawa Jan Jagriti Yuwa Club 4-0. Jonathan Eduardo Cantillana Zorrilla led the team with a hat-trick, playing a decisive role in the win.
Cantillana scored in the 11th and 50th minutes, giving Machhindra a 2-0 lead. Substitute Rejin Subba added a third goal in the 62nd minute, and Cantillana completed his hat-trick in the 81st minute, earning Player of the Match honors. Despite several substitutions, Nawa Jan Jagriti could not alter the outcome.
Manang Marsyangdi Club Secures Win Over Chitlang
Earlier, Manang Marsyangdi Club (MMC) earned a 2-0 victory over Chitlang Football Club. The first half ended goalless, with both teams displaying physical play and tactical discipline.
MMC increased their pressure in the second half, with Shyrab Lo Tamang scoring in the 49th minute. Chitlang introduced substitutes, including Dona Thapa and Sabin Rai, but MMC's defense, led by Player of the Match Sujan Chaudhary, remained solid. Sumit Malla secured the win with a goal in the 94th minute.
