Jhapa – Jalthal FC has booked its place in the final of the Limbuni Thuli Memorial Cup 2081 with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Red Horse FC Ilam in the first semi-final at the Natural Stadium in Arjundhara-3, Jhapa.
Roshan Thamsuhang was the match's hero, netting the decisive goal that secured Jalthal's passage to the final. His match-winning performance earned him the Player of the Match award and a cash prize of Rs 3,500.
The tournament, organized by the Charity Youth Club, honors the late Aitmaya Subba, also known as Limbuni Thuli.
The second semi-final clash is set for Friday. Rolling Club Jhapa will take on Pathari 11 of Morang for the remaining spot in the final.
