Lalitpur — RS Resort & Beach Football booked their place in the ANFA National League after a commanding 4–1 victory over Students FC in Group A action on Thursday at Chyasal Stadium. The result propelled RS to the top of the group standings, securing automatic qualification to the National League under the single round-robin format, where the top two teams from each group advance. Church Boys United and Rapti Football Club remain in contention for the group's second qualifying spot. Jhapa FC also enjoyed a successful day, defeating Lamki Football & Training Centre 2–0 in Group B to secure third place and guarantee at least a playoff berth. The eastern side collected 12 points from six matches, sealing their progression.
Sankata Club had already confirmed qualification from Group B earlier, while New Road Team (NRT) — with one match still to play — has all but secured their place in the National League as well.
Under the competition format, the top two sides from each group advance directly to the National League, while third-placed teams keep their hopes alive via the playoff route.
Thursday's victory was crucial for RS Resort, which finished its campaign strongly. Their 4–1 dismantling of Students FC highlighted both attacking prowess and defensive discipline, ensuring they topped Group A.
Meanwhile, Jhapa's win over Lamki reflected their consistency throughout the qualifiers, as they locked down third spot and kept their campaign alive.
Looking ahead, two matches are scheduled for Friday at Chyasal. Sindhupalchok FC face Reale FC at 9 a.m., followed by NMB Pokhara Girls against Nepal Sports Club at 1 p.m. All four teams have already been eliminated from contention for National League qualification.
