Matchday 36 of the National League 2082 took place at two well-known venues in Lalitpur and Kathmandu. At the ANFA Complex, fans saw both a high-scoring game from Jawalakhel Youth Club and a tough defensive draw. Over at Dasarath Stadium, Friends' Club Kopundole grabbed an important win. It was a tense match that went right to the end.

Jawalakhel Youth Club Dominates Kankrebihar in Five-Goal Thriller

Jawalakhel Youth Club (JYC) started the day at the ANFA Complex with a strong 4-1 win over Kankrebihar Club. The match began cautiously. Kankrebihar’s Dipendra Chunara surprised everyone by scoring in the 6th minute. JYC answered calmly and kept pressing. Boubacar Cissokho equalised. When Nicholas Odane Hamilton came on in the 40th minute, the game shifted in JYC’s favour.

Hamilton made a big impact by scoring in the 50th minute. He scored again in stoppage time to cap off a strong second half. Bikash Darlami Magar, who was named Player of the Match, also scored in the 64th minute. This helped JYC secure all three points. Even though Kankrebihar took an early lead and Ashim Upadhyay played with determination, JYC’s better tactics and deeper squad proved too much.

Defences Reign Supreme in Chitlang-APF Stalemate

The last game at the ANFA Complex was a careful contest between Chitlang Football Club and APF Football Club. It ended in a 0-0 draw. Both teams focused on strong defence. There were a few real chances to score. APF’s Bishwas Udas stood out in defence. He stopped Chitlang’s attacks and earned the Player of the Match award.

Even after several substitutions by Chitlang’s coach Prajwal Pratip Chetri and APF’s Rajendra Tamang, neither team managed to score. Both sides took home one point. Defenders and goalkeepers dominated the match from beginning to end.
