Kathmandu – Nepal's national cricket team has secured a significant boost ahead of its upcoming fixtures, with NAASA Securities Limited signing on as the official jersey sponsor under a three-year agreement with the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN).
The deal, announced on Sunday, will see NAASA Securities provide CAN with an annual sponsorship worth NPR 23.6 million. The agreement follows an open tender process in which the minimum bidding price was set at NPR 20 million.
The signing ceremony brought together key stakeholders, including CAN President Chatur Bahadur Chand, CAN General Manager Utsav Dhungana, NAASA Securities Managing Director Madan Paudel, and company representative Anil Shrestha, all of whom signed the contract.
Following the agreement, the NAASA Securities logo will be prominently displayed on the national team's jerseys. The event also served as the official unveiling of Nepal's new cricket kit, presented jointly by National Sports Council Member Secretary Tanka Lal Ghising, CAN President Chand, and MD Paudel.
The sponsorship marks a significant step in bolstering financial support for Nepal's cricket program as the team continues its journey in regional and international competitions.
